Asbestos Lubricated Graphite Packings

By suitable lubricating & impregnating Asbestos yarn & ropes, anti-corrosive packings have been developed to service different types of fluids with a range of different pH value. It is braided & lubricated by a special process where each yarn is individually impregnated with high glade lubricant & superior quality graphite and manufactured with square interlock braid method. It is designed for general purpose gland packing, centrifugal pumps, valves, rotary & reciprocating pumps, steam engines, oils, gases, water pumps etc.

These are Asbestos yarn packing braided into square cross-section & thoroughly impregnated with high flash point resistance lubrication. Each yarn having separately treated with best quality of flake graphite. Recommended for all superior purpose. Asbestos yarn impregnated with heat resistant lubricant is braided into square / round cross section. The surface is then treated with graphite conforms to D.G.S.& D. & ISI specification.

Size (Thickness): 6 mm to 10 mm, 12 mm & above.
Packings: 6 mm in 5 kg coil 10 mm to 25 mm 7.5 kg coil 32 mm & above 20 kg coil Service Temperature: 315 Deg. C.
Applications: Sealing glands & valves of steam, hot water, air, Ammonia, hydrocarbon animal & vegetable oils. Particularly suitable for centrifugal pumps, steam & loco engines.

Asbestos Tape

Asbestos Yarn is converted into tape or ribbon form, it opens up new vistas of applications. Asbestos tapes are fireproof, flexible tapes woven from Super Fine quality Asbestos yarn that will not unravel in service. Because of their excellent electrical & heat insulating properties & high tensile strength they open up a new horizon of applications. They are used for insulating wires, coils, cables & other electrical conductors. They are also used for insulating small steam pipes & bends; as a flexible gasket material & to form flexible connecting couplings where high temperature service is involved & as winking in oil-burning apparatus. They are durable & economical, high in water repellence, low in water absorption, resistant to flame, heat, oil, fungus & mold, non-corrosive to cables, non sagging and abrasive resistant. Edges of the tape are salvaged so that the threads cannot pullout. They are handy & so can conveniently be carried anywhere at anytime & used right on the spot of work.

Packing: 30 Mtr long coils/rolls Asbestos Belt Non-Metallic & Metallic The belt is provided with tight weaving. Asbestos, yarn is twisted separately and then weaving is made by heavy loom. (4 ply/6ply.) The belt is provided reinforcement of brass wire.
Application: Belts are most suitable for conveyor belting and for industrial Brake Linings.
